Thought I would share some more of my digital scrapbooking. I have been working on this beach album for my parent's christmas gift. I didn't post any of my layouts so that it could be a surprise. This isn't all of them, but the ones I thought turned out best.

Christmas in a nutshell
The Dixon Family had a very blessed Christmas. We spent precious time with lots of family, ate too much great food, kicked back and watched a couple of flicks, and were spoiled with many thoughtful gifts. As always, mom and dad went out of their way to make it a special time for all of their kids and grandkids. Noah got a 4 wheeler (not a real one!) and Micah got a car, so we are good on transportation for now. Hope you all had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did!

i'm back
OK, so that was an extra long blogcation. I could go into a long explanation of how busy my life has been, but let's just be honest, nobody wants to hear it.
The most notable thing that has happened in our family over the the last 3 weeks is the sad news of my sweet PaPa passing away. I say sad news because he will be desperately missed by all of us who loved and cherished him as a wonderful grandfather, daddy, husband, and so many things that he was to so many people. But for him I rejoice. He gets to spend his first Christmas with Jesus! He lived a wonderful life full of love and integrity. He leaves all of us with the gift of that example and the gift of our family. I look forward to seeing him again someday, but until then I will do my best to love the way that he loved and live the way that he lived.
Noah is enjoying Karate and his break from homeschool ( which is also a good break for his teacher). Micah is beginning to say a few words. Duane is busy with so many things I would never get to bed if I got into it! We are ready for Christmas and hoping that it will be a nice break from the busyness.
I hope all of your families have a blessed Christmas!

Hi-Ya
Noah is officially enrolled in Karate (Tae Kwon Do) classes. He had a "try it out" class yesterday, but tonight was his first official class. He looks so cute in his uniform! Here are a few pictures of him goofing off before class. As you can see, he's got skills.
