We've had a great Thanksgiving weekend! The weather has been beautiful. On Thursday we celebrated with my family at Mom and Dad's house. Not everyone could be there this year, but it was still a big crowd. Noah missed his boy cousins who couldn't be there because of sickness, but he made do with his girl cousins just fine :). They made Christmas cards and played pin the hat on the turkey. Much food was eaten and football played. As always, there was much to be thankful for.

And here's to you....
Well, I've been catching up on things after being in New York over the weekend, otherwise it wouldn't have taken me so long to blog about such a fun trip! My sweet mom took my sister and I, and my Aunt Karen and cousin Sarah joined us. We had a great time! We stayed right in Time Square, which was too cool. We saw a very funny play called The Drowsy Chapperone. We also went to a brunch with the Beatles (well, not the real ones obviously - but they were remarkably similiar). We ate a lot, shopped a lot (4 story Old Navy -watch out!), laughed a lot, walked A LOT, went to the top of the Empire State Building, took a carriage ride around Central Park, saw St. Patrick's Cathedral, ate at SAKS, went to Rockefeller Center (saw the tree, but it had scaffolding all around it), ate New York pizza, and just had lots of fun together. And that was all in less than 3 days. It wasn't exactly a "restful" time, but who goes to New York to rest??? I'm so blessed to have such wonderful women in my life. Thanks for a great trip Mom! It was unforgettable. And a round of applause goes out to my very capable man for holding down the fort while I enjoyed some girl time! Here are some pics. Candice - the Target picture is for you.

Trick or Treat
This year we spent Halloween in Kingston Springs. The boys had a great time trick or treating around mom and dad's neighborhood. I am officially declaring it the trick or treating meca of cheatham county. I have never seen so many kids! There were some houses where kids were actually standing in line to get to the front door! Noah is sporting the Peter from Narnia look and Micah is an adorable little Roo. He was coordinating with his cousin Ty who was a sweet little honey pot. (Noah refused to be Pooh). Much candy was collected by all. I don't know who will eat Micah's??? :)
