tree house
Noah had a great time at his cousin's house last week. He had no idea that while he was gone his daddy was working feverishly to surprise him with a tree house when he returned. Our sweet friends Holly and Carson gave up a lot of time to help out with it too. This morning was the big reveal. Noah was very suprised and very excited. Micah thought it was pretty sweet too! Now I just have to figure out how to keep him from jumping out of it :). I hope my boys know how blessed they are to have such an awesome daddy. I do my best to remind them often!

Aquarium
Monday we took a trip to Chattanooga to visit the Tennessee Aquarium with 7 of Noah and Micah's cousins. We saw sharks, penguins, fish of course, and some other freaky and amazing looking creatures. The boys had a great time, but Noah was most excited about getting to go home with Andy and spend a few days. So, I am with one child this week. Feels a little strange, but Micah is definitely enjoying the extra attention. And lately, he needs it :), so it comes at a good time.
the crew
the aquarium has a beautiful room full of butterflies that you can walk through. this is micah checking them out. none of them actually showed up in the picture, but i promise they are there!
it was a long day for the little guy.
i think noah liked being outside and playing in the water more than the actual aquarium.
noah and the infamous andy. if you know noah very well, you know ALL about andy too :).
stay tuned tomorrow for the gender of dixon baby #3

back blog
Just wanted to share some random pics from the past couple of weeks.
Micah had his first experience playing in the sprinkler. He loved it! Cackled the entire time!
Monkeys
We had a fun and busy weekend. Friday morning we took off for the zoo. Diego (from the tv show) was to be there at 11:00, so we busted our rears trying to get there to see the show. Of course we get there and my sweet but fickle 6 year old says, "I don't really even want to see Diego". I figured out later that he really didn't care that much about the animals either. His entire purpose in being there was to get to the end and have ice cream and play on the playground. Hello, could've done that for three dollars in Cookeville! Micah on the other hand loved the animals and we all had a great time together, so it was still worth the trip. After the zoo we visited the newest member of the family and Micah got to hug on his cousin Ansley. We spent the rest of the weekend at mom and dad's doing fun things and celebrating mother's day.
Today Noah and I are trying to get started on what will probably be our last week of school! I say"trying" because by 8:00 I had gotten Micah out of the toilet twice. Once he was filling it up with the laundry - yeah. I also caught him streaking after he decided to remove his diaper and then I pulled Noah's second tooth. Wonder what the rest of the day holds????
